DATASHEET

BWL Gland is a three-part brass cable gland with separate locking ring designed for use with all Steel Wire Armoured cables. BWL glands do not have an inner seal and as such provide minimal ingress protection against dust and liquid, so they are only recommended for use in indoor, where is free of liquid and dust. Provides mechanical cable retention and electrical continuity via armour locking mechanism.

BWL is heavier than the standard BW and offers increased resistance to mechanical impact with a longer body, providing greater protection to the armour wires from damage and impact.
